Descrição da Função

IT House is looking for a Senior QA Engineer for a direct placement with an end client in the Transport & Logistics sector, located in Porto. Main Responsibilities - Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies for software quality, performance and reliability; - Design, create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts based on complex product requirements; - Perform thorough manual testing to identify defects, ensure functionality and validate user experience, including exploratory testing; - Identify, document and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams; - Mentor and support junior Quality Assurance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning; - Collaborate with developers, product managers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery; - Design and execute complex performance tests, analyze results and recommend improvements. Requirements - Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field; advanced certifications ( ISTQB) are highly desirable; - Extensive experience as a Quality Engineer or similar QA role, with deep understanding of software testing methodologies; - Advanced proficiency in automated testing tools ( Cypress, JUnit) and scripting languages ( Python, JavaScript); experience with performance testing tools is essential; - Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing; - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; - Demonstrated ability to lead Quality Assurance initiatives and mentor junior team members; - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration; - Familiarity with invoicing, logistics or supply chain industry is advantageous; - Good knowledge of English.
