Descrição da Função

IT House is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Backend for a direct placement with an end client in the Logistics and Transportation sector. Key Responsibilities - Develop and enhance the next generation of our terminal management system; - Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions; - Contribute to the design and evolution of our software architecture by evaluating and applying modern architectural patterns and technologies; - Take technical ownership of complex features and support the team in solving challenging technical problems; - Ensure high code quality through code reviews, coding standards, automated testing, and continuous refactoring; - Drive engineering excellence by improving development processes, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern development practices; - Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks related to performance, security, scalability, and maintainability; - Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA Engineers, UX Designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software; - Mentor and support other developers through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and best practices; - Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ideal Profile - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Several years of professional experience in software development, preferably in enterprise application development. - Strong experience with Java and Spring (Spring Boot) or another modern object-oriented programming language and framework. - Solid understanding of software architecture principles, including microservices, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and relational databases (SQL). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions. - Self-motivated, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a strong focus on quality. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in agile development teams. - Good written and spoken English.
