Descrição da Função

For a direct placement with an end client operating in the Logistics and Transportation sector, we are looking for a Senior Test Engineer – Automation to strengthen, with a strong focus on test automation and software quality assurance for business-critical applications. This role plays a key part in defining testing strategies, building automation frameworks, and continuously improving software quality, working closely with development teams and application stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of automating test procedures and creating test data sets Analyse technical requirements and specifications of software products Identify and structure test objects and requirements, and design test cases in collaboration with development teams and application owners, mainly within agile project environments Execute manual and automated test cases, producing test documentation and defect reports to support development in root cause analysis and issue resolution Act as a central point of contact for testing-related topics, contributing to the evolution of methodologies and internal knowledge sharing Support second-level support activities Ideal Profile Education in IT, or alternatively commercial or logistics training combined with relevant technical experience Solid experience in quality assurance; ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level is considered an advantage Confident use of Office tools and other IT platforms ( Confluence, Jira) Knowledge of test automation and related tools ( QF-Test) High quality standards and a strong drive for continuous improvement of software products Strong communication skills, analytical and critical thinking, high sense of responsibility, and flexibility Good command of English We Offer Direct integration into the end clients organisation Participation in technology-driven projects with a strong focus on quality and automation Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment Opportunity for professional development within a structured technical setting Contractual conditions aligned with the candidates profile and experience
