Strategic Sourcing Manager - Work directly with the Sweden team  Join this leading Swiss Space Technology Company making waves in the New Space sector! Operating in 6 countries, they are the international preferred supplier of structures for launch vehicles and a leader in satellite products. As the set up in the Portuguese market, they are seeking a dynamic Strategic Sourcing Manager to work directly with the team in Sweden.   Responsabilities - Developing and executing global sourcing strategies, methods and tools for direct and indirect sourcing; - Responsible for material on-time delivery (< 5% late), cost (PPV savings) and quality (supplier quality cost); - Define methods, tools and forums for effective cross-site supply co-operation; - Asserts favorable part-/supplier selection by co-ordination with component- and mechanical engineering; - Act as a change agent within own organisation as well as towards main stakeholders; - Participates in and contributes to continuous improvement of material practices, designs etc.; - Proactive supplier relationship management of the global supply base across the organisation; - Support Parts Engineering and Design in the work to harmonize part selection and to create and maintain centralized PPL; - Define, develop and maintain KPIs relevant to achieve delivery, cost and quality excellence; - Lead or support major supplier negotiations; - Develop, negotiate, and establish contractual agreements for contract manufacturers, component vendors or suppliers of machined parts; - Lead Key Supplier assessments; - Support SQE in commercial supplier aspects. Requirements - Bachelors or Masters degree in Management, Engineering, Logistics, Economics or equivalent preferably in Strategic Procurement; - More than 5 years in-depth strategic and operational experience in sourcing with a solid working knowledge of global supply base; - Strong analytical skills (risk based) and focus on the essential facts; - Excellent communication skills.
