Job Title: Web Developer Type: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: Immediately Location: Azores Job Summary Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Web Developer will be an integral member of Connexall's Marketing team, playing a key role in the development, maintenance, optimization, and continuous enhancement of the organization's digital presence. This position is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and management of corporate websites, microsites, and marketing landing pages, while ensuring an exceptional user experience, optimal website performance, and alignment with Connexall's marketing strategy and business objectives. The successful candidate will bring expertise in WordPress, content management systems (CMS), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, website performance optimization, SEO best practices, analytics platforms, and marketing technology integrations. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, and IT Infrastructure teams, the Web Developer will help ensure Connexall's digital presence remains modern, secure, scalable, and high performing while supporting brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and business growth initiatives. Primary Responsibilities • Lead Connexall's web presence with all internal and external stakeholders. • Act as the central owner for all platform updates, coordinating with cross-functional teams to roll out new and updated materials seamlessly. • Design, build, and launch new websites, microsites, and campaign-specific landing pages from scratch, taking ownership of the entire development lifecycle. • Lead the technical implementation and integration of web properties with third-party platforms, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, HubSpot, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and other marketing analytics or tracking tools. • Act as the primary liaison between the Connexall Marketing and Information Technology teams. • Audit Connexall's existing web presence for optimal organization, navigation, performance, user experience, and communication. • Identify shortcomings and make recommendations for improvement. • Develop a project calendar for implementing approved upgrades. • Collaborate with Marketing team members in the design, development, and execution of assigned projects and campaigns. • Complete assigned projects according to requirements, specifications, and deadlines. • Develop a process and schedule for the regular review and execution of website maintenance. • Manage the accessibility and renewal schedule for the marketing technology stack. • Research Connexall's business, solutions, and customers to understand how the web presence can best support business needs, preferences, and opportunities. • Self-manage and balance priorities between competing demands from multiple concurrent projects, self-directed work, and related support activities. • Monitor and optimize website performance, mobile responsiveness, and user experience. • Support technical SEO initiatives, including metadata management, redirects, site structure, and page performance improvements. • Implement and maintain analytics and tracking technologies to support website and marketing performance reporting. • Support marketing automation and CRM integrations, including platforms such as HubSpot and Google Analytics. • Test website functionality, usability, and compatibility across browsers and devices prior to deployment. • Other duties as required. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline required. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant practical experience will be considered. • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in website design and development. (Portfolio required) • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related web development technologies. • Extensive experience with all aspects of the WordPress platform is required (WordPress Developer certification is considered an asset). • Solid understanding of the full web development lifecycle, including front-end design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. • Knowledge of current web development standards, best practices, emerging technologies, and design trends. • Experience integrating third-party applications, content management systems (CMS), and external platforms into website functionality. • Experience in healthcare, healthcare IT, or clinical technology environments is considered an asset. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other commonly used business applications. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, quality-focused, and adaptable. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively managing multiple concurrent projects and meeting established deadlines. • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, energy, and a commitment to excellence. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative, and entrepreneurial environment.
