About the role:
- Farfetch is seeking a Digital Artist to work closely alongside the Post-production team who is responsible for deliver consistency of Farfetch imagery, assuring the quality of assets is reflective of our DNA and is a key driver in raising the fashion credibility of the site
- In order to achieve this Digital Artist will be a pivotal driving force; working to consistently elevate the assets on site.
- The Digital Artist will concept, create, design and drive processes to create assets in collaboration with key cross-functional departments.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the quality of creative work by inspiring excellence, providing direction and constructive feedback;
- Determine and communicate the creative vision to the executing team that’s bringing the vision to life;
- Work closely with the Creative Services team to develop and interpret briefs to create a clear creative vision;
- Balance creative vision with business objectives + priorities;
- Attend briefings/status meetings, handle cross-team interaction, pitch concepts in a compelling manner;
- Communicate and monitor project progress;
- Lead brainstorms as needed with support from the Post-production Manager, identify the best resources from the team based on project needs;
- Ensure work is of highest quality, reflects Farfetch standards, and is on budget and on time;
- Lead the creation, execution, and continual evolution of Post-production guidelines;
- Inspire creative excellence by pushing the boundaries of Post-production guidelines;
- Assess creative work to ensure ideas are as powerful in reality as they are in concept;
- Provide creative quality control over concepts and execution;
- Oversee in-house or external execution and production of creative work;
- Stay up to date with new innovations and industry trends;
- Set the tone for forward-thinking, positive, and an industry-leading Post-production organization infused with Farfetch vision;
- Also contributes to thought leadership;
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6+years of industry experience, preferably in fashion & beauty;
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with expert understanding of digital art.

- A recognized industry leader with a strong portfolio that demonstrates originality, innovation and multi-disciplinary thinking;
- Solid business sense and experience in balancing creative vision with business priorities/objectives;
- Strong leadership skills and can organize, motivate, and elevate the creative output and Retouchers skills;
- Strong understanding and experience with the creative process and how to evaluate creative output in image & video assets;
- Production savviness, knowing how to work within budgetary constraints; experience working with photographers and art directors;
- Creative energy, confidence, self-motivation;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines with strong project and time management skills;
- Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively with a team;
- Eager to take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test and learn;
- Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starter.
