As a Cash Application Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial processes run smoothly and efficiently! RESPONSIBILITIES: - Investigate overpayments and underpayments to enable accurate posting - Review age of receivables and specific account balances to ensure timely receipt of payment - Implement actions to re-bill customers or forward accounts to collections for follow-up - Processing accounts receivables adjustments for errors or omissions including credits and debits to accounts - Resolve unapplied and unidentified receipts on daily basis - Maintain a clean ledger with minimal aged open transactions - Administer month end procedures on Accounts Receivables - Liaise with the Business Units to manage overdue receipts - Create and produce accounts receivables reports for management review - Identify problem areas in the process and work to generate solutions - Maintain an up to date AR operation manual - Administer direct debit operations, including managing of Direct Debit batches in order to provide an accurate and properly charge to our customers - Record unpaid direct debits to ensure bank and customer accounts proper reconciliation - Cooperating with Collections team to add/update direct debits instructions to ensure accurate and timeliness of direct debit submissions KEY SKILLS: - Minimum of High School diploma - Experience in accounting - Ability to quickly become a proficient user of Oracle Financial Applications - Knowledge of International Accounting Standards - Good communication skills - Language skills: English mandatory OFFER: - Opportunity to work in a reference company in its sector - Value: 1000 - Meal Allowance: 9,60 - Hybrid regime (only 4 days per week at the office) - Work contract with our client - Location: Paço de Arcos, Oeiras Don't let this opportunity slip away, apply now!
