We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join us in Braga, Portugal on a full-time, permanent and remote basis. The successful candidate will be required to oversee financial operations, compliance and cost control within our Irish region.

• Lead and manage the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify key challenges and opportunities.
• Implement system and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Leverage strong problem-solving skills to address financial challenges and follow through on actions to ensure successful outcomes.
• Take ownership of the rolling 12-month forecasts, monitoring key performance indicators to ensure alignment with budgetary targets and driving strategic financial planning.
• Provide support for ad-hoc management presentations and financial requests, delivering clear and actionable insights.
• Lead the development and preparation of the company's annual budget.
• Oversee and manage the annual audit process, ensuring compliance and smooth execution.
• Cultivate strong partnerships and maintain effective relationships with senior leadership.
• Proactively identify and implement initiatives for process optimization and enhanced efficiency across financial operations.
