Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers for trading and financial systems. • Enhance and support existing SBL (Securities Borrowing & Lending) module. • Be part of a strategic product development initiative (Short selling) in the trading domain. • Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to translate trading and financial requirements into efficient database solutions. • Optimize database performance and ensure scalability for high-volume trading transactions. • Implement and maintain data integrity, reconciliation, and validation controls across multiple trading systems. • Support integration between trading platforms, back-office systems, and settlement layers. • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment cycles within agile environments. • Document technical specifications and system changes in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience as Database Developer in the financial services or capital markets sector. • Proven expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, and database performance tuning. • Deep understanding of Short Sell and SBL (Securities Borrowing & Lending) workflows and related financial processes. • Experience integrating Oracle solutions with trading and post-trade systems. • Strong understanding of capital markets, trading operations, and settlement processes. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
