We’re currently partnering with an amazing client and looking for a Python Backend Engineer to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities: • Develop backend services using Python • Work with Agentic AI tools and solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from different companies • Integrate AI systems (e.g., LLMs, APIs, vector databases) • Contribute to building scalable and maintainable AI-driven backend systems • Communicate effectively in English • Work independently while contributing to a shared goal Requirements: • Experience with Python in a backend context • Knowledge or experience with AI/ML systems (especially LLMs or autonomous agents) • Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud environments • Based in Portugal (Lisbon area is a plus, but the role is fully remote) • Fluent in English • Experience with version control tools like Git • Feeling humble and motivated by being able to learn/teach others • Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose Nice to have: • Experience in InsurTech or knowledge of the insurance industry • Familiarity with LangChain, vector databases, or agent-based frameworks • Experience in international projects As Humans, we are focused on giving you different perks and better ones such as: - An extra salary per year (15º month); - Budget for your personal improvement such as Training; - Health insurance because we got your back; - Vacations that increase, year after year; - Mobility Program (We’ll explain it to you later, hahahaha).
