Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain data solutions using Spark and Delta, ensuring efficient data processing and analysis. - Collaborate with the team to define and implement data modeling strategies that meet business needs. - Optimize and perform performance tuning for data processing tasks, utilizing indexing and partitioning techniques. - Develop, test, and maintain solutions using SQL Server/Synapse and Python for SQL-based transformations. - Implement unit testing practices to ensure code quality, prioritizing automation over manual testing. - Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD processes. - Monitor and manage ADF pipelines, ensuring data flows efficiently and securely. Desired Profile - Solid knowledge of Spark and Delta for data processing. - Strong technical understanding of databases, testing, and performance tuning. - Experience in data modeling and implementing advanced concepts. - Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Python-based Spark. - Proven experience with SQL Server/Synapse and optimizing queries and performance. - Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). - Additional knowledge in CDL and experience with monitoring ADF pipelines is a plus.
