Job description In your Tax Specialist role, you also will do the following: - Review accounting records, document content and applicability of Indirect TAX and legal regulations; - Preparation of account reconciliations and monthly VAT journal entries; - Prepare indirect tax returns as well as necessary compliance checks; - Liaise with internal counterparts in order to review individual transactions and proceed with any necessary corrections; - Liaise with the Indirect Tax manager and local Accounting regarding VAT queries; - Develop expertise and increase process efficiency and compliance by continuously monitoring, identifying and implementing improvements; - Assure clear and complete documentation for all procedures. Your Profile - You are best equipped for this job if you have: - A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field of studies; - Experience in Indirect Taxes, Accounting or a similar role, preferably in an international and multicultural environment. - Knowledge of VAT compliance is an advantage; - Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel; - Flexibility to identify and adopt process changes that increase efficiency and compliance; - Fluency in English.
