About Uber They´re changing the way people think about transportation. Not that long ago they were just an app to request premium black cars in a few metropolitan areas. Now they´re a part of the logistical fabric of more than 600 cities around the world. Whether its a ride, a sandwich, or a package, they use technology to give people what they want, when they want it.  For the people who drive with Uber, the app represents a flexible new way to earn money. For cities, they help strengthen local economies, improve access to transportation, and make streets safer.   And thats just what they´re doing today. They are thinking about the future, too. With teams working on autonomous trucking and self-driving cars, they are in for the long haul - reimagining how people and things move from one place to the next. About the Role The Public Safety Response Team (PSRT) manages requests for user data from police, the judiciary and other government agencies around the globe.  These often involve emergency circumstances which require an immediate response.  Every request is unique and must be checked for legal compliance prior to commencing exhaustive research to identify the exact data requested.   We are seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented person with a strong work ethic to join our team of privacy and safety specialists processing requests for user data. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent judgement, prioritize effectively and work collaboratively whilst under pressure; communicating effectively with external and internal stakeholders.  What Youll Do - Follow local government and Ubers policies in responding to requests from law enforcement in a timely manner; - Identify, escalate and respond to emergencies promptly and effectively; - Manage internal and external stakeholders through clear, concise and rational communication; - Be flexible and prepared to cover weekend duties and public holidays as necessary. - Contribute to process improvement of procedures, new features/products to reinforce data protection of our users; - Making phone calls to law enforcement officers.    What Youll Need to Evidence - Fluency in reading, writing and conversational English and a second European language; - Confidence to interact with police and other government agents in a calm, professional manner within a high pressure and rapidly evolving environment; - Able to work independently with impeccable judgment; - Skilled in various computer systems, internet technology and software (PC, Mac, MS Office, online research, etc.); - 0-2 years of work experience, most preferably on online operations environment.   What do we have to offer? - Contract directly with Adecco; - international team; - Location: Lisbon; - Salary: between 1200 and 1300; - Hours: 09h00 - 18h00 from Monday to Friday.
