Job Title: GenAI Tech Lead Location: Lisbon, Portugal Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (x2 days per week on-site) Overview / Summary: We are looking for a Tech Lead in Generative AI to lead a team of five professionals and drive the definition, architecture, and end-to-end implementation of advanced GenAI solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership, deep expertise in modern AI technologies, and the ability to translate business needs into robust, secure, and scalable architectures. Responsibilities and Tasks: Define GenAI solution architecture: data pipelines, LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agents, orchestration, integrations. Provide technical leadership to AI Scientists/Engineers, enforcing best engineering practices. Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs. Lead end-to-end delivery: data ingestion, model development, pipelines, testing, automation, CI/CD, deployment. Establish standards and guidelines for LLMs, vector databases, agent frameworks, MLOps/LLMOps, DataOps. Perform technical reviews (architecture, code, PRs, design docs). Support technology decisions across AI platforms and tools. Ensure security, compliance, access policies, log auditing, and sensitive-data protection.

Perfil

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in leading AI/ML or GenAI teams.
• Experience in designing and delivering GenAI/LLM solutions.
• Experience in LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agent frameworks, vector DBs, MLOps/LLMOps, DataOps, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Databricks, LangChain, LlamaIndex.
